Important Dates for the 2012 General Election

November 6, 2012, General Election (Federal/State)
Vote 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day at Your Assigned Polling Place,
All Voters Registered in Clark County 

Candidates who receive the most votes in a General Election are elected to office. You may vote for all offices and questions on the ballot for your precinct, regardless of your party affiliation.

•	October 6, 2012 Saturday	Registration Deadline: Last day to register to vote or to update your existing registration, without having to appear in-person at the Election Department offices. (NRS 293.560)
•	October 7 - 16, 2012 Sunday - Tuesday	In-Office Registration (10 Days): You may register to vote or update your existing registration in-person at the Election Department offices only. (NRS 293.560(5))
•	October 20 - November 2, 2012    Saturday - Friday	Early Voting (14 Days): Any voter registered in Clark County may vote at any early voting site within the County.  Hours and days vary by location.  (NRS 293.3568)
•	October 30, 2012 Tuesday, 5:00 p.m.	Mail/Absentee Ballot Request Deadline: Last day for the Election Department to RECEIVE WRITTEN mail ballot requests. (NRS 293.315)
